Every location has its own local customers and every site has its own challenges of how to get the most profit from the space you have.

When we visit a new customer, we have a good look around and think things through ‘from the kerb to the cold room’.

Outside, we look at your community, the competition and the personality your current business is projecting. Shoppers walk past your windows all the time. Some passers-by may be customers - frequent or infrequent. But some are not customers. Yet. They look in, but they don’t come in. Why? There’s not much you can do if they are veggies - but what about the rest?

Inside, we look at your products and specialities, space allocation, operations and equipment. We look hard for ways to save money and ways to grow your trade. Perhaps a rethink of your space allocation and presentation could help you to present more products in a better way. And rethinking how your customers shop may identify ways to improve operations generally.

Then we talk. If we can’t help improve your business - we’ll say so. If we think things could be better, we’ll take you through the reasons why.
